Google is rolling out Pomelli, its AI-powered marketing tool for small businesses, across the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
The expansion brings the Google Labs experiment, built in partnership with Google DeepMind, to European markets for the first time after launching in public beta in October 2025 in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
Pomelli is designed to let small and medium-sized businesses generate on-brand marketing content without external design tools or agencies.
The tool works in three steps: it scans a company's website to build what Google calls a "Business DNA" profile, capturing tone of voice, colour palette, fonts and visual style; it then proposes campaign ideas or accepts a user's own prompt; and finally it generates editable images and video assets for social media, web and advertising use.
A "Photoshoot" feature transforms basic product photographs into polished marketing images, while an "Animate" function powered by Google's Veo 3.1 video model converts static visuals into short branded videos.
Generated assets can be downloaded but must be manually uploaded to social platforms, as the tool does not include direct publishing or scheduling integrations.
