Xfinity will introduce what it describes as its most dynamic Olympic Games viewing experience to date during NBCUniversal’s coverage of Milan Cortina 2026, anchored by three new technologies designed to enhance personalisation, simultaneity and image quality.

The cable and broadband provider, owned by US media conglomerate Comcast, said it will debut Fan View, Multiview and RealTime4K across its X1 and Xfinity Stream platforms for the Winter Games.

Fan View will serve as an interactive companion, enabling viewers to select preferred sports, follow medal counts, view highlights and competition statistics, and access venue flyover tours, all from the screen.

Multiview will allow audiences to watch up to four Olympic broadcasts at once, including a “Create Your Own Multiview” tool to combine chosen channels.

Comcast executive Vito Forlenza, Vice President of Sports Entertainment, Connectivity and Platforms, said, “The Olympic Games capture the attention of the nation like no other sporting event, making them a perfect stage to showcase what Xfinity does best when it comes to live sports.”

RealTime4K, offering Dolby Vision picture and Dolby Atmos audio, will stream coverage from USA Network with a delay of only seconds behind the live feed, the company said.

Xfinity also announced a dedicated Peacock 4K channel launching on Super Bowl Sunday. It will carry Olympic content in the mornings, shift to Super Bowl LX programming, and return to Milan Cortina coverage in the evening via NBC and Peacock.

Additional features include AI-generated Highlights, which tag notable moments on digital video recordings, and a Highlights Zone offering short-form playlists across all 16 Olympic disciplines.

The Recap

  • Xfinity will offer enhanced viewing for Milan Cortina 2026 Olympics.
  • Features include Fan View, Multiview and RealTime4K technology.
  • Peacock 4K channel launches on Super Bowl Sunday.
