Xbox curated a January Indie Selects collection to highlight indie releases that the company said often went unnoticed when launched in late November and early December, the company said in a statement.
Demonschool, from Ysbryd Games, is listed at $24.99 and the company said it features a two-phase turn-based system, a rewind function and interactive environments. The company noted small in-game details, including a non-player character who says they "marked their seat" during orientation.
Morsels, from Annapurna Interactive, is $14.99 and is described as a top-down roguelite creature collector with procedurally generated rooms and persistent progression, the company said. GIGASWORD, from Akupara Games, is $14.99 and the company said it combines action-puzzle and Metroidvania elements where a heavy sword is central to combat and environmental puzzles.
