MGM+ operates as an ad-free linear channel and streaming platform that provides original series, docuseries, recent movie releases and classic film franchises on demand and across devices.
It is an Amazon-owned streaming platform, not to be confused with Prime Video, it was rebranded from its previous name, 'EPIX', and, it is available in more than 30 countries.
An MGM+ subscription costs $7.99 per month or $61.99 per year, but, there is a seven-day free trial. It can also be included in Amazon's Prime Video, as an add-on.
The platform carries original scripted series and docuseries such as FROM, Godfather of Harlem, Billy the Kid, Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue and The Institute, alongside cinematic dramas including Rogue Heroes, Belgravia and War of the Worlds.
A new four-part docuseries, The Hillside Strangler, premieres in early 2026 and revisits the infamous murders that terrorized Los Angeles in the late 1970s with exclusive interviews.
