Vonage and C3 AI team up to support services in the field

Vonage and C3 AI have launched C3 AI Field Services, integrating AI agents with Vonage communications and network APIs for mobile field operations.

Vonage and C3 AI have announced the launch of C3 AI Field Services, a new module that promises to provide AI-powered support to "mission-critical field operations".

The joint offering aimed at engineers in the field combines C3 AI’s enterprise AI capabilities with a range for APIs from Vonage Communications, part of the Ericsson telecoms group, including Voice and Video APIs as well as Network APIs.

The firms said the new module coordinates multiple AI agents and machine-learning models to retrieve data, perform reasoning, and generate natural language summaries to support technicians with real-time insights, step-by-step guidance and access to remote experts.

“The future of work in mission-critical operations will be defined by intelligence embedded at the point of execution,” said Nikhil Krishnan, CTO, Data Science, C3 AI.

Christophe Van de Weyer, President and Head of Business Unit API at Vonage, meanwhile, commented: “Together with C3 AI, we’re redefining the future of field services by equipping technicians with trusted, mobile-first AI agents and reliable connectivity."

A demo will be showcased at the Ericsson VIP Zone during Mobile World Congress, taking place from 2–5 March.
