Tether launches AI-powered fitness data app QVAC Health
A new platform unifies wearable and wellness data with on-device AI and encryption.
Tether, the company behind the crypto with the same name, has launched a personal wellness data platform that aggregates biometric, workout, nutrition and medication data into a single, encrypted, offline-capable dashboard.
The platform, called QVAC Health, acts as a sovereign bridge between isolated tech ecosystems, letting users consolidate data from smart rings, running watches and nutrition trackers without routing information through third-party servers, the company said in a statement.
It explained that QVAC Health uses local on-device AI and natural language processing to enable typed or spoken logging of workouts, biomarkers, symptoms and meals. The platform, meanwhile, also includes experimental "computer vision" to estimate calories and macronutrients from meal photos.
“We are building the first truly neutral ground for wellness data,” said Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino.
All AI models used in the platform are distributed peer-to-peer, to support analysis without internet access, and the product roadmap includes proactive on-device guidance and direct Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity to selected wearables.
