Tether and Rumble launch self-custodial wallet with native crypto tipping
Rumble Wallet embeds a non-custodial crypto wallet directly into the video platform, allowing creators and audiences to transact in digital assets without relying on traditional financial intermediaries.
Tether and Rumble have launched Rumble Wallet, a self-custodial cryptocurrency wallet integrated into the Rumble ecosystem and designed to support direct payments and creator tipping in crypto.
The companies said the wallet supports Tether USD (USDT), Tether Gold (XAU₮) and Bitcoin at launch, enabling users to tip creators natively and make borderless payments without banks or payment processors. Tether said its USAT stablecoin will be added in the coming weeks.
Rumble Wallet is built using Tether’s Wallet Development Kit, an open-source, modular toolkit intended to simplify the deployment of secure, self-custodial wallets. The companies said the approach is designed to give users direct control of their assets while allowing platforms to integrate crypto payments without taking custody of funds.

Chris Pavlovski said the partnership reflected shared values around decentralisation and user autonomy. “Rumble represents free speech and liberty the same way that cryptocurrency and a decentralised internet represent freedom, and Rumble Wallet is the natural combination of those things,” he said.

The collaboration between Tether and Rumble was first announced publicly at the Plan ₿ Forum in Lugano last October. The launch marks a further step in Rumble’s efforts to differentiate itself by building alternative monetisation and payment infrastructure for creators.
Tether said its Wallet Development Kit is available now via its website and supports Bitcoin, Lightning, USDT, XAU₮ and USAT. The companies positioned the toolkit and the Rumble Wallet launch as part of a broader push to normalise self-custodial crypto payments within mainstream digital platforms.
