Tencent Cloud launches EdgeOne Pages official version
EdgeOne Pages is an edge-native full-stack development platform
Tencent Cloud launched the official version of EdgeOne Pages, a platform that lets developers build and deploy web projects without server setup, environment configuration or operations.
The company said in a statement that EdgeOne Pages moved from beta to an official release after serving over 150,000 users and enabling more than one million deployments, and that the update adds metrics and usage analytics, customizable security protection, mainstream SSR full-stack frameworks, one-click KV storage and AI voice chatbots.
The platform offers templates for AI tools, online utilities, SaaS, B2B services, corporate sites and e-commerce, with integrated functions for CMS, payments, OAuth and databases. EdgeOne’s network of more than 3,200 edge nodes automatically distributes content to nodes closest to end users and applies intelligent caching for static and dynamic content. The service uses a serverless architecture and introduces enhanced data monitoring with a console analytics dashboard for site and host metrics.
The official release adds native support for Next.js, Astro, Nuxt, React Router and SvelteKit, and allows one-click preview or deployment of templates and existing full-stack applications without modifying project structures. EdgeOne Pages integrates with the CodeBuddy IDE for one-click deployment, connects via MCP to AI IDEs such as Cursor and VS Code, and ships an updated EdgeOne CLI to streamline development workflows.
The company said in a statement that a permanently free tier is available with one-click activation, offering unmetered website security acceleration traffic and request quotas, platform-level security protection and unified data monitoring; users can sign up for a free trial to get started.
