SwissBorg integrates Base into Meta-Exchange to expand Layer 2 access
Swiss crypto investment platform has added Coinbase-backed Layer 2 network Base to its Meta-Exchange, widening access to Base-native tokens and liquidity.
SwissBorg has integrated Base into its Meta-Exchange, expanding support for Layer 2 ecosystems and deepening available liquidity, the company said in a statement.
The Meta-Exchange now supports liquidity from decentralised exchanges including Uniswap, PancakeSwap and Aerodrome, while aggregating liquidity from centralised exchanges, decentralised venues and fiat rails into a single trading interface.
SwissBorg said the integration is designed to provide deeper liquidity routes, improved access to Base-native assets and lower-slippage execution for users.
Cyrus Fazel, co-founder and chief executive of SwissBorg, said Base is currently the most active Layer 2 network on Ethereum and hosts some of the fastest-growing projects and tokens in the ecosystem.
SwissBorg said Base is built on the OP Stack in collaboration with Coinbase and offers a fast, low-cost, EVM-compatible environment with high transaction throughput and low fees.
Fazel said the addition of Base follows earlier integrations including Solana, BNB Chain and Avalanche, allowing SwissBorg to cover the majority of liquid crypto tokens.
He said users can swap assets cross-chain in a single tap, with the Meta-Exchange automatically arbitraging liquidity to deliver execution that can outperform traditional centralised exchanges.

The company said users are able to swap Base-native assets against any SwissBorg-supported token without the need for external wallets, bridges or manual network switching.
SwissBorg said further integrations are planned as the Base ecosystem continues to develop.
