Spotify has launched Directed By, a documentary-style series that shows the making of music videos.
Spotify has launched 'Directed By', a documentary-style series that shows the making of music videos.
Created in partnership with Android, a three-episode series traces a music video's journey from early storyboard sketches and location scouts to the final day on set, the streaming company said in a statement.
The first episode, available now, follows British pop artist Maisie Peters and director James Ogram as they develop the videos for her songs "Audrey Hepburn" and "You You You."

“The best advice I ever got was to make stuff,” said James Ogram, a London-based director and U.K. Music Video Award nominee known for visuals for Fat Dog and Lauren Auder, and for work alongside cinematographer Robbie Ryan.
The media streamer said new episodes, created in partnership with Android, will explore other artists and directors and show how directors use Google Gemini; new episodes will be released in February and March.
