Apple is pushing Sneaky Sasquatch into its retail stores for the holidays. The long-running Apple Arcade hit is getting a major update on December 16, adding mushroom farming and a live Crop Market where players can track prices and sell produce.

Apple Stores will lean into the game. Some locations will run themed Today at Apple sessions and on-screen dance parties. A kids’ workshop focused on drawing Sneaky Sasquatch will run every weekend through January 6. Visitors can also play the title at the in-store Arcade bay.

Los Angeles gets a larger splash. Apple The Grove will host an interactive installation on December 12 and 13, with photo spots, hidden-item giveaways and campfire snacks.

The push lands as Apple Arcade expands its catalogue. Recent additions include SpongeBob: Patty Pursuit 2, PowerWash Simulator, Cult of the Lamb Arcade Edition, Subway Surfers+, and NARUTO: Ultimate Ninja STORM+. More games arrive January 8, including Cozy Caravan, Sago Mini Jinja’s Garden, True Skate+, and Potion Punch 2+. The mobile version of Cozy Caravan will debut the same day as an Apple Arcade exclusive.

Apple Arcade costs $6.99 per month in the US with a one-month trial. New device buyers get three months free. The service is also bundled with Apple One plans. A single subscription covers up to six family members, though availability varies by device and region.

What it means

Apple is turning a kid-friendly cult hit into a seasonal retail draw. It keeps Arcade in front of families during peak shopping season and reinforces the service as a curated, hardware-anchored ecosystem rather than a standalone app-store alternative. It is also a reminder that Apple’s most effective Arcade marketing still happens inside its stores, not on its home screen.

The Recap

  • Sneaky Sasquatch appears at hundreds of Apple Store locations.
  • Harvest to Harbor update adds mushrooms and a Crop Market.
  • Four new games arrive on Apple Arcade on January 8.
