Shotling raises €700K pre-seed round
The Danish defence technology group closed a pre-seed financing round with €700K committed, above a €500K target.
Shotling closed a pre-seed financing round with €700,000 committed, exceeding a targeted €500,000.
The company said the round was led by Myriad Defense Fund, included co-investment from IPO CLUB’s Fund II America 2030, and featured a non-dilutive match-loan from EIFO, the Export and Investment Fund of Denmark.
Shotling develops patent-pending kinetic hard-kill systems for short-range drone defence. Its rotary shotgun system provides close-range protection at 50–100m with a Gatling-style design, novel high-capacity magazines, and firing rates up to 3,000 RPM using standard or tungsten-based 12-gauge shells.

The company said the financing supports work on rapid-fire modular shotgun systems aimed at countering FPV drones and loitering munitions. It added that the global counter-UAS market is accelerating towards $10 billion by 2030, with the kinetic defence segment showing 25%+ CAGR.
Shotling said the team combines weapons engineering and active-defence expertise to advance its kinetic solutions for military units and critical infrastructure operators.
