Serve Robotics reaches 2,000 delivery robots, builds largest US sidewalk fleet
Serve Robotics has deployed more than 2,000 delivery robots, marking the completion of its 2025 deployment goal and creating the largest sidewalk delivery fleet in the US.
The company said in a statement that the milestone met its 2025 target on time, on plan, and on budget, reflecting rapid expansion across key U.S. markets, including Los Angeles, Atlanta, Dallas‑Fort Worth, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Chicago and Alexandria, Va., with additional cities launching in early 2026.
Serve said its fleet operates with Level 4 autonomy in urban environments and achieves a 99.8% completion rate. The robots produce zero tailpipe emissions and replace traditional delivery vehicle trips. “The difference between delivering value versus hype in AI comes down to real-world application. Crossing 2,000 robots enables millions of deliveries to customers and makes delivery more accessible, affordable, and environmentally friendly,” Ali Kashani, co‑founder and CEO of Serve Robotics, said.
The company said it expanded its fleet twentyfold since the start of the year, launched service in 110 high‑density neighbourhoods in 2025, introduced its Gen 3 robots for higher‑volume operations, and has partnerships with national and local restaurant brands, retailers, and delivery platforms, including Uber Eats and DoorDash.
