Schneider Electric named Official Energy Technology Partner of McLaren Racing
Partnership to focus on energy efficiency, electrification and digital twin insights across McLaren’s global operations
Schneider Electric has been appointed Official Energy Technology Partner of McLaren Racing, extending a relationship spanning more than two decades.
The partnership covers all McLaren teams, including the McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 Team, the Arrow McLaren IndyCar Team, McLaren F1 Academy and the McLaren United Autosports World Endurance Championship Hypercar Team.
The companies said the collaboration will optimise energy use across McLaren’s wind tunnel, manufacturing sites and IT data centres.
It will deploy resilient systems to reduce consumption, enable electrification through advanced energy technologies, and apply digital twin tools to generate insights that enhance sustainability and operational efficiency.
