Robotics company RobCo has raised $100 million in a Series C funding round to advance its Physical AI platform and expand enterprise deployments across the United States and Europe.

The round was co-led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and Lingotto Innovation, with participation from Sequoia Capital, Greenfield Partners, Kindred Capital, Leitmotif and The Friedkin Group.

“With $100 million of additional funding, we will become the dominant AI robotics company for manufacturing in the U.S. and Europe,” said Roman Hölzl, RobCo founder and chief executive.

Founded in 2020 in Munich, RobCo builds a full-stack robotics system that integrates perception, motion planning and self-learning to enable increasingly autonomous robots in real-world production settings.

The company expanded into the United States in 2025 and now operates offices in San Francisco and Austin.

Its robots are in use at manufacturers including BMW, DynaEnergetics, Fabricated Extrusion Company, T-Systems and Rosenberger.

“After leading RobCo’s Series B, we’re excited to double down and co-lead this $100 million round,” said Alexander Schmitt, partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners. He said the investment would support RobCo’s continued expansion in the US and the development of a robotics roadmap that compounds learning and capability over time.

The Recap

  • RobCo raised $100 million in a Series C funding round.
  • Round co-led by Lightspeed and Lingotto Innovation investors.
