Reddit expands shopping tools for retailers

Reddit rolls out Collection Ads, overlays and a Shopify alpha to boost Dynamic Product Ads performance.

Reddit is launching new shopping tools for retailers and ecommerce businesses, expanding Dynamic Product Ads with Collection Ads, Reddit-unique overlays and a Shopify integration ahead of Shoptalk 2026.

The company said in an announcement that high-intent shopping conversations on Reddit rose 40% year-over-year and that 84% of shoppers feel more secure in purchases after researching products on the platform.

Reddit highlighted performance gains for advertisers, reporting Dynamic Product Ads drove an average of +91% higher ROAS year-over-year in Q4 2025 and citing Fospha research showing businesses scaling investment saw cost per purchase improve by 34% and increased ROAS. Brands such as Canada Goose and Liquid I.V. are named as early DPA adopters. "Since launching Reddit DPA in April 2025, we’ve seen a transformative shift in our lower-funnel efficiency for Liquid I.V.,” said Karilyn Anderson, VP of Media and Retention at Liquid I.V. “Despite being a newer placement for us, DPA has already generated 33% of our total platform revenue. Most impressively, it is outperforming our other conversion campaigns by 40%, all while maintaining engagement levels on par with our top-tier prospecting efforts."

Collection Ads combine a lifestyle hero image with shoppable product tiles inside a DPA carousel; early advertisers following best practices see an 8% lift in ROAS, the company said. Reddit is also testing Community and Deal overlays to surface content like "Redditors' Top Pick" and automatic sale pricing inside ads. The new Shopify integration, now in alpha, is designed to simplify catalog and pixel setup and speed onboarding for DPA advertisers.
