Prime Video set to stream its second NFL Wild Card game
Prime Video will present a second NFL Wild Card playoff game in January, with the exact date and matchup to be announced after the regular season ends.
Prime Video is preparing to present a second NFL Wild Card playoff game, on either January 10 or January 11.
It will follow a regular season in which Amazon Prime Video has streamed each week's 'Thursday Night Football'.
The streaming company, in an announcement, said the exact date and matchup will be announced following the conclusion of the NFL regular season on January 4.
US viewers can watch the game on Prime Video on more than 650 devices, and the game will also be available on phones and tablets via NFL+, Twitch, and over-the-air TV stations in the two home markets of the competing teams.
Prime Video said Al Michaels will handle play-by-play with Kirk Herbstreit as analyst and Kaylee Hartung reporting from the sidelines.
Charissa Thompson will host, joined by analysts Tony Gonzalez, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Andrew Whitworth, and Richard Sherman, and Miguel Gurwitz and Rolando Cantú will call TNF en Español.
The streamer added that it will be running a playoff edition of Prime Vision with Next Gen Stats, featuring AI-powered innovations such as Defensive Alerts, on-screen graphic overlays, distinctive vantage points from TNF’s High-Sky camera angle, and in-game reports from analytics expert Sam Schwartzstein.
