Prime Video Is Going Full Chaos Mode in December
Fallout is back, Michelle Pfeiffer is going rogue, and Amazon is stuffing your feed with more Originals than you can possibly stream.
Amazon is treating December like a content avalanche, and Prime Video subscribers are about to get buried in it. The headline act is clear.
Fallout returns on 17 December, with Season 2 dragging viewers back into the Mojave wasteland and onward to New Vegas. If last season’s finale set the table, this one looks ready to flip it over.
But Amazon is not stopping at irradiated deserts. The month opens with The Merchants of Joy on 1 December, a New York City documentary series about families fighting to keep long-held traditions alive.
Two days later comes Oh. What. Fun., which stars Michelle Pfeiffer as a holiday matriarch forced into an adventure she absolutely did not plan for. It is festive chaos with A-list energy.
Amazon then starts firing off Originals like it is testing the limits of your queue. Surely Tomorrow lands on 6 December. Merv arrives on 10 December. Dímelo bajito drops on 12 December.
Human Specimens shows up on 18 December. Miss Sophie: Same Procedure as Every Year rounds out the month on 22 December, ready to satisfy anyone who prefers their Christmas viewing weird, European and slightly unhinged.
If scripted drama is not your diet, Prime Video has live sport threaded through the entire month. NBA matchups include the Los Angeles Lakers taking on the Boston Celtics on 5 December.
Thursday Night Football returns as well, culminating in a Christmas Day clash between the Denver Broncos and the Kansas City Chiefs. It is holiday programming for people who prefer touchdowns to tinsel.
In short, Amazon is firing on all cylinders. December on Prime Video is not a content drop. It is a content detonation.
