Perplexity said it is making Enterprise Pro available to law enforcement and public safety agencies, providing up to 200 seats free for a year, with discounted pricing for larger deployments.

The company said the programme makes Perplexity the first frontier AI company to offer an enterprise-grade product specifically tailored to law enforcement and public safety use cases.

Enterprise Pro is designed to work on mobile devices and supports voice input and image uploads, with all responses citing their sources, the company said. Agencies will also have access to multiple leading AI models.

Perplexity highlighted a range of use cases, including summarising public reporting and social media activity, uploading photos and diagrams from incident scenes for AI-generated summaries, analysing body-worn camera transcripts, converting investigator notes into structured reports, and translating witness statements and community outreach materials.

The company said the service is private by default and includes safeguards intended to support secure and accurate use by public safety personnel.

Perplexity said eligible agencies can begin onboarding through its Perplexity for Public Safety Organisations page.
