Overchat AI shows GPT-5.1 leads model usage
Analysis of 2.875 million interactions from November 28–December 5 finds GPT-5.1 accounted for 66.0% of flagship text-model usage.
Overchat AI's analysis of user activity for November 28–December 5 shows GPT-5.1 was the dominant text-generation model during that period.
The company said in a statement it analysed data from 437,500 users who generated approximately 2.875 million AI interactions on its platform.
By flagship text-model usage the ranking was: GPT-5.1 — 120,805 chats (66.0%); DeepSeek V3.2 — 19,230 chats (10.5%); Claude Opus 4.5 — 16,888 chats (9.2%); Gemini 3 Pro — 14,792 chats (8.1%); Grok 4.1 — 10,231 chats (5.6%).
The company reported image and video model results separately: Nano Banana Pro generated 310,720 chats compared with 29,855 for the original Nano Banana, and Nano Banana Pro costs 100 credits per generation on Overchat AI. Users can generate 80 images per week with Nano Banana Pro and up to 800 images per week with other models. For video generation Overchat AI said Sora 2 accounted for 83.0% of video usage, Wan-25 30.9%, and Seedance-1-0-Pro 7.3%.
The company also noted OpenAI released GPT-5.2 on December 9, following the GPT-5.1 release earlier in November.
