OpenAI published a system card for GPT-5.3 Instant, its artificial intelligence model, describing the model's performance characteristics and safety measures.
The card presents GPT-5.3 Instant as the newest addition to the GPT-5 series and frames the update around smoother, more useful everyday conversations.
OpenAI said in a blog post that GPT-5.3 Instant "responds faster, delivers richer and better-contextualised answers when searching the web, and reduces unnecessary dead ends, caveats, and overly declarative phrasing that can interrupt the flow of conversation." The card uses the name gpt-5.3-instant when referring to the model.
The document says the comprehensive safety mitigation approach for GPT-5.3 Instant is largely the same as that described for GPT-5.2 Instant in the GPT-5.2 System Card. The system card appears alongside other GPT-5 series materials on the company's publication pages.
