NotebookLM adds enterprise appeal (with spreadsheets)
Data Tables synthesizes user sources into structured tables exportable to Google Sheets.
NotebookLM introduced Data Tables, a feature that synthesizes user sources into clean, structured tables ready for export to Google Sheets.
With the introduction of the spreadsheet tool, Google's AI research platform (which also introduced the world to all AI podcasting), is bolstering its enterprise credentials.
According to the company, Data Tables can turn meeting transcripts into action-item tables categorized by owner and priority, build competitor comparison tables analyzing pricing and strategies, and synthesize clinical trial outcomes across multiple papers to track study years, sample sizes and statistics.
Sticking, meanwhile, to its earlier education and academic uses, Google added that the feature can also prepare study tables for exams organised by date, key figures and consequences, and compare destinations by best times to visit and estimated costs for travel planning.
Data Tables will be available to all Gemini Pro and Ultra users today, and to all users in the upcoming weeks, the tech giant said.
