NASA and SpaceX successfully launch new international space mission

SpaceX successfully launched its Crew-8 mission from Kennedy Space Center, sending astronauts Matthew Dominick, Michael Barratt, Jeanette Epps, and cosmonaut Alexander Grebenkin to the International Space Station (ISS) for a six-month stay.
The mission, aboard a Falcon 9 rocket, encountered initial delays due to high winds and a last-minute concern over a small crack in the capsule's hatch seal.
Despite the challenges, the launch proceeded, marking it as the eighth long-duration crewed mission to the ISS facilitated by SpaceX.
It is planned that the crew will conduct approximately 250 experiments in the station's unique microgravity environment.
