Microsoft launches Defender Experts security services suite

Microsoft has unveiled a new packaged set of expert-led cybersecurity services designed to provide managed threat detection, incident response and direct advisory support.

Microsoft said it has introduced the Microsoft Defender Experts Suite, combining managed extended detection and response, incident response capabilities and access to dedicated security advisors.

The company said the suite offers round-the-clock managed extended detection and response, proactive and reactive incident response services, and direct support from a designated Microsoft security advisor.

Microsoft Defender Experts for XDR provides continuous managed detection and response integrated with Microsoft Defender, the company said.

It added that its analysts collectively bring more than 600 years of experience to investigate and respond to threats across endpoints, identities, email, cloud applications and cloud workloads. Defender Experts for Hunting also delivers ongoing proactive threat hunting, Microsoft said.
