Microsoft is launching Copilot Health, a dedicated, secure area inside Copilot that aggregates medical records, wearable data and health history to deliver personalised, actionable health insights and a waitlist for early access in the United States.
The move responds to gaps in clinical time and confusing health information; Microsoft says its consumer products already handle "over 50 million consumer health questions a day." The company said in an announcement, "Copilot Health doesn’t replace your doctor."

Copilot Health links activity, sleep and vital trends from over 50 wearable devices, integrates health records from more than 50,000 U.S. hospitals and provider organisations via HealthEx, and includes lab results from Function. It surfaces patterns and context so users can prepare for appointments and discuss findings with clinicians.
Microsoft describes multiple safety and governance measures: Copilot Health data is isolated from general Copilot, encrypted at rest and in transit, and not used for model training. The service is informed by an external panel of over 230 physicians from more than 24 countries and holds ISO/IEC 42001 certification. Microsoft also cites research work such as the Microsoft AI Diagnostic Orchestrator (MAI‑DxO) as part of its clinical evaluation pathway.
