Marks & Spencer is top of the shops, Good Housekeeping says

Marks & Spencer has been recognized as the UK's top supermarket in the Good Housekeeping Institute Food Awards 2024.
The company was 'top rated' across 16 categories, including the best sausage roll and best barbecue foods, and won four additional reader-voted categories.
M&S's offerings, including premium essentials and innovative product launches like its low-alcohol Fresh & Bubbly Fizz, were highlighted for their taste and quality.
It comes despite consumer perceptions that its 'slightly pricey', albeit the British supermarket brand says its taken steps to be more affordable via price cuts in its 'Remarksable Value' products range.
Lidl was named the best supermarket for wine whilst Tesco won for online grocery services.
Aldi and Lidl were noted for their value for money.
