Liquid Reply joins Linux Foundation–backed Agentic AI Foundation
Consultancy aligns with open governance effort to help move agent-based AI systems from experimentation into enterprise production
Liquid Reply, a technology consultancy focused on artificial intelligence and data platforms, has joined the Agentic AI Foundation, an initiative launched under the auspices of the Linux Foundation to promote open standards and governance for agent-based AI systems.
In a statement, the company said the Agentic AI Foundation, or AAIF, provides a neutral, open governance framework that allows members to collaborate transparently on tools, protocols and specifications, while ensuring outputs remain available as open-source resources.
The foundation brings together a growing set of projects aimed at standardising how large language models interact with software systems. These include the Model Context Protocol, Goose and AGENTS.md, which are designed to enable consistent, interoperable communication between AI agents and a wide range of applications and services.
According to the release, the AAIF community includes major technology groups such as Amazon Web Services, Anthropic, Google, Microsoft, OpenAI, Oracle, Salesforce and SAP.
Liquid Reply said its work centres on helping enterprises design and implement AI platforms capable of moving agent-based systems out of pilot phases and into production environments.
The company said it makes use of open technologies such as the Model Context Protocol to standardise how AI agents connect to enterprise applications, data sources and operational systems.

By joining the foundation, Liquid Reply said it plans to actively engage with the wider community and contribute to the development of open standards for next-generation AI applications. The move reflects growing industry interest in shared governance models as organisations look to deploy increasingly autonomous AI systems in business-critical settings.
The Agentic AI Foundation is part of a broader effort by the Linux Foundation to extend its open-source governance approach into emerging areas of artificial intelligence, where interoperability and transparency are seen as key to long-term adoption and trust.
