LinkedIn said it is releasing its first book, Open to Work: How to Get Ahead in the Age of AI, which explores how artificial intelligence is transforming jobs, roles and career paths.

The company said the book is authored by Ryan Roslansky, LinkedIn’s chief executive, and Aneesh Raman, its Chief Economic Opportunity Officer. It said the work is grounded in real-time shifts already taking place in the labour market rather than speculative forecasts about the distant future.

According to LinkedIn, the book draws on proprietary data, insights from experts, its global professional network, customers of Microsoft, and findings from the Work Trend Index to explain how work is evolving and how individuals can respond in practical ways.

The company said Roslansky’s dual role as LinkedIn CEO and head of engineering for Microsoft 365 Copilot gives him direct visibility into how AI tools are showing up in everyday workflows, while Raman’s remit focuses on how technology-driven change can expand economic opportunity across the workforce.

Open to Work: How to Get Ahead in the Age of AI will be published on March 31 and is available for pre-order, LinkedIn said. The Recap
