LG unveils ultra-thin OLED Wallpaper TV at CES 2026
The 9mm class Wallpaper TV revives LG’s design and adds True Wireless connectivity.
South Korean consumer electronics group LG Electronics has launched a new ultra-slim OLED Wallpaper television at CES 2026, highlighting wireless connectivity, higher brightness and upgraded artificial intelligence features.
LG Electronics has introduced the LG OLED evo W6 Wallpaper TV at CES 2026, unveiling a 9 millimetre class model designed to minimise visual presence when mounted on a wall.
The company said the set achieves its slim profile by relocating all inputs to a separate Zero Connect Box, which can be positioned up to 10 metres away, enabling a True Wireless connection between the box and the display panel.
LG said the Wallpaper TV uses Hyper Radiant Color Technology and Brightness Booster Ultra to increase luminance by up to 3.9 times compared with conventional OLED televisions, while also reducing screen reflectance. Testing group Intertek has awarded the display a Reflection Free Premium certification, according to the company.
The television is powered by the Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen3, which LG said includes a neural processing unit that is 5.6 times more powerful than the previous generation. This enables a Dual AI Engine that runs parallel algorithms to preserve natural texture while reducing image noise.
LG said its Gallery+ service will provide more than 4,500 curated images alongside integrated mood music. The 2026 OLED evo range also supports gaming features including 4K at 165Hz, NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible, AMD FreeSync Premium, a 0.1 millisecond pixel response time and Auto Low Latency Mode.
“The Wallpaper TV represents the beautiful convergence of our True Wireless leadership, form factor innovation, and 13 years of OLED mastery,” said Park Hyoung-sei, president of the LG Media Entertainment Solution Company.
