Kraken said in an announcement it won top honors at Finder’s Product Awards 2026 and WeMoney’s 2026 Cryptocurrency Awards in Australia, marking recognition across two of the country’s leading industry programs.
Finder’s awards assess platforms on fees, features, user experience and security, and the platform named Kraken "Overall Crypto Trading Platform of the Year", the announcement said; this is Kraken’s third consecutive Finder recognition.
At WeMoney, Kraken secured Winner (Best for Features (back-to-back wins), Winner Best for Portfolio Insights), and was a Finalist for Best for Flexibility, the announcement said, with WeMoney drawing on expert analysis and input from more than 1.4 million Australian investors.
“The awards are a clear signal that the bar for crypto platforms is rising, and we are committed to leading that charge for Australian investors,” said Jonathon Miller, Kraken General Manager for Australia and Rest of World. The company also noted that some cryptoassets are unregulated in Australia and that profits may be subject to capital gains tax.
