Jake Paul to launch ‘W’ men’s personal care brand with Walmart

Jake Paul is launching a personal skin-care brand for men, starting with an initial roll-out to Walmart stores.
Later, the product lines are due to also be sold on Amazon.
It promises to be a new commercial avenue for Jake Paul whose brother is Prime co-founder Logan Paul.
The ‘youtuber’, influencer, and boxer is labeling the brand “W”. Its initial product line comprises a body wash, body spray, and antiperspirant deodorant, to be followed in the future by shampoo, conditioner, face wash, and hair gel in the coming months.
The launch comes as Paul is scheduled boxing exhibition with Mike Tyson, which is due to be streamed on Netflix in November.
Market research highlighted today suggested the male personal care market is growing at nearly 10% per year, and predicted it will exceed $100 billion within the next four years – albeit in previous years, 2018 to 2023, it was growing half as fast at 5% CAGR.
In comments to the media, Jake Paul described it as a “super underserved market”.
“We saw this old and outdated category where the competitors have been on the shelves in the exact same way for the past 20 years,” he said while being interviewed on CNBC.
“We just believed we had a better vision, better product, and could disrupt this entire space.”
