Indie Selects celebrates two years with curated collection, sale and Xbox backgrounds
Anniversary initiative features six 2025 standouts, 300-title sale and new console customisations
Indie Selects is marking its second anniversary with a curated collection of standout titles, a wide-ranging sale and new personalisation options for Xbox users.
The Anniversary Collection, available from 28 January to 10 February in the Indie Selects hub on the Xbox Store, features six handpicked games from 2025, selected by the ID@Xbox team.
The titles are Despelote (Xbox Series X|S), Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Cloud), Cronos: The New Dawn (Xbox Play Anywhere), I Am Your Beast (Xbox Play Anywhere), Afterlove EP (Xbox Series X|S), and Lost Records: Bloom & Rage (Xbox Play Anywhere).
In parallel, an Anniversary Sale is running from 28 January to 9 February, offering discounts on more than 300 indie games and add-ons released in 2025. Highlighted titles include Jump Space, Rooftops & Alleys: The Parkour Game, The Sinking City Remastered, Killing Floor 3, Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound and I Am Your Beast.

Indie Selects also introduced three new dynamic backgrounds, available in the Xbox Settings Personalisation menu, as part of the anniversary celebration.

The Indie Selects hub refreshes weekly, with a curated collection and four themed spotlights rotating each Wednesday. Players can access the collection on console by selecting Store from the Xbox Home screen, opening Games Home from the left navigation and scrolling to the Indie Selects hub. It is also available online at Xbox.com/IndieSelects.
