Indeed says it uses AI in over 100 job search and hiring features
Indeed is expanding AI across its job-search and hiring products to speed matching and reduce repetitive work for recruiters and job seekers.
Hiring and HR platform Indeed has said that AI is central to its mission, and that the company has used machine learning for nearly 20 years to connect job seekers and employers.
Indeed said it now has more than a hundred AI-powered features across search and hiring, and it works with OpenAI on more than a dozen products.
“When both job seekers and employers are using AI capabilities, we see their outcomes improve pretty consistently,” said Maggie Hulce, Indeed's Chief Revenue Officer.
The job search firm, in an announcement, said it recently launched two AI agents, Career Scout for job seekers and Talent Scout for employers, and added Advanced Screening and Sourcing through Indeed Connect.
Indeed noted it uses OpenAI APIs to power features including Invite-to-Apply, Talent Scout, and Career Scout.
The company reported performance gains across products: about 70% of sponsored applications now come from AI-powered recommendations, employers using Smart Sourcing hire 40% faster, and Premium Sponsored Jobs—used by hundreds of thousands of employers—moves forward three times more applicants and cuts time to hire by nearly 60%.
