Hyundai opens studio to collab on 'future mobility'

Hyundai Motor Group has opened its first “UX Studio”, a participatory research centre in Seoul, that aims bring customers directly into its design process.
The Korean car maker's wants to develop future mobility experiences, and the studio would be an open platform for real-time feedback.
“Our vision for the best UX goes beyond convenience to foster a truly inspiring mobility experience,” Hyundai Motor Group VP of 'future strategy', Hyolin Kim said in a statement.
“At the heart of this vision is the voice of our customers."
The centre is divided into three zones: a UX Test Zone for concept trials, an SDV Zone showcasing the latest software-defined vehicle architecture, and a UX Archive Zone displaying prototypes and research findings.
Participants can test infotainment systems, VR demonstrations and the Pleos Connect interface based on Android Automotive OS.
