HPE teams up with 2degrees to build a sovereign customer service AI platform
HPE will help 2degrees deploy a private AI platform to accelerate AI services and keep data on shore.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is entering a partnership in New Zealand to develop a private AI platform to accelerate AI-driven services for telecoms firm 2degrees.
The platform, built on HPE Private Cloud AI, is being co-developed with NVIDIA as part of NVIDIA AI Computing by HPE, the company noted in an announcement.
The company said the solution will modernize and simplify 2degrees’ technology environment and create a sovereign, unified and flexible platform to support more agile and scalable services.
The company said the turnkey "AI factory" architecture will reduce internal development cycles, optimize network operations and speed new product releases, and that NVIDIA Enterprise and AI infrastructure will help deliver more resilient and predictable networks.
"Partnering with HPE allows us to innovate and grow with confidence as we continue our journey to become New Zealand’s leading telco in value, innovation and growth," said 2Degrees CTO and CIO Stephen Kurzeja.
