Hims & Hers launches UK weight loss plan that includes Mounjaro and Wegovy

Hims & Hers is making its 'comprehensive' Weight Loss Programme available to eligible customers in the UK through its Hers platform.

Eligible customers can access transparent pricing and receive personalised weight management programmes, following "a clinically robust intake assessment" by doctors, the online health retailer said in an announcement.

64 percent of UK adults are overweight or living with obesity, the company highlighted, and access to GLP-1 treatment plans remains challenging on the NHS and in the private sector because of surging demand and rising costs.

Licensed clinicians will assess potential customers' medical history, suitability, and contraindications, Hims & Hers said.

Treatment options may include branded GLP-1s such as Mounjaro or Wegovy and the oral non-prescription treatment Orlos. All customers will be given access to 24/7 care team access and content to support nutrition, movement, and sleep-based habits.

“The launch of Hims & Hers’ comprehensive Weight Loss Programme and the vital introduction of the Hers platform, our dedicated platform for women, represents a significant deepening of our commitment to the UK,” added David Meinertz, GM International of Hims & Hers.

The company, which previously specialised in erectile dysfunction and male anti-hairloss treatments, said it plans to continue expanding into additional personalised care offerings as demand grows.
