Google has announced the Pixel 10a, a mid-range Android smartphone priced at $499, available for pre-order now ahead of a 5 March retail launch at the Google Store and major carriers.
The 6.3-inch device is powered by Google's Tensor G4 chip and includes access to Gemini AI features such as Gemini Live and Circle to Search, which allows users to search for information by drawing a circle around content on screen.
Camera hardware includes a 48MP main sensor and a 13MP ultrawide lens with Macro Focus and Night Sight low-light photography, alongside new A-series tools including Auto Best Take and Camera Coach, the latter using Google's Gemini models to offer shooting guidance.
Google said battery life exceeds 30 hours under standard use, extending to 120 hours with Extreme Battery Saver mode enabled.

The phone carries an IP68 water and dust resistance rating and features a frame made from 100% recycled aluminium, with Google describing it as the most recycled-material A-series Pixel to date.
The Pixel 10a will be available in Lavender, Berry, Fog and Obsidian, with matching Pixel Buds 2a launching in Berry and Fog.
