Google.org said in an announcement it and Highlights for Children have reached 1 million U.S. second-to-fifth-grade students with online safety education through a nationwide classroom programme.
The effort was supported by $5 million from Google.org that funded Highlights' development and deployment of "Be Internet Awesome" classroom kits to 10,000 schools nationwide.
