- Gemini Pro users can create 8-second clips
Google has launched Veo 3 Fast, its new AI video-generation model, to Gemini Pro subscribers worldwide.
The rollout enables users to generate 8-second videos at up to 720p resolution using text prompts, with features such as synthesised speech and sound effects.
The feature is now live in all regions where the Gemini app is available, including India.
Google confirmed the update is part of its broader Gemini AI Pro subscription.
The company has emphasized safety protocols, including visible and invisible watermarking (via SynthID), and content moderation tools to prevent misuse.
Early access creators have already used Veo 3 to reimagine historical scenes, generate memes, and create cinematic simulations.
Veo 3 was originally introduced during Google I/O. With the ongoing launch, Google aims to position Gemini as both a creative toolset and a serious competitor in the emerging AI video generation space.
