Google blocks IPIDEA via Play Protect
Play Protect will warn users about apps with IPIDEA code and block them.
IPIDEA, one of the biggest malicious networks in the world, used hidden proxy tunnels to infiltrate millions of computers and phones until now.
The company said in a statement that Google Play Protect (Android’s built-in security protection) will automatically warn users if an app contains IPIDEA code.

The company added that Play Protect will remove such apps from devices or block them from being installed.
The company said it has worked with other companies to make sure IPIDEA does not grow back.
