Gemini is rolling out a new Gemini Drop that updates its artificial intelligence models and creative tools across the app, the company said in an announcement.
The release adds Lyria 3 and Gemini 3.1, which the company says offers "significantly improved intelligence for solving complex problems"; the update includes 3.1 Pro for demanding workflows and Deep Think, a specialized reasoning mode available for Google AI Ultra subscribers.
It also introduces Nano Banana 2, a new image model designed to render higher-fidelity visuals and to add text in any language to images with real-world accuracy and speed.
"Gemini is constantly evolving to be your most useful AI partner," Google said in an announcement.

Veo Templates arrive as ready-made video starting points that users can browse, select and remix with their own details for a polished result. The Drop also adds direct links to scientific papers so users can find verified citations without digging through pages of search results.
