GeForce NOW adds Samson and Rayman anniversary edition to cloud streaming library

Nvidia's GeForce NOW cloud gaming service has added several new titles to its streaming library this week, led by Samson: A Tyndalston Story, a close-quarters action game from Liquid Swords, the studio founded by former Hitman creative director Hakan Abrak.

The game follows a former enforcer named Samson navigating a corrupt city built around debt and violence, combining melee combat with choice-driven narrative progression in which environmental factors such as momentum and terrain influence fight outcomes.

The title makes use of ray-traced global illumination, reflections and shadows to render its urban setting, and is optimised with NVIDIA DLSS 3.5, a frame rate enhancement technology that uses AI upscaling to deliver higher image quality at lower computational cost, alongside NVIDIA Reflex, which reduces input latency between a player's controls and the on-screen response.

By streaming through GeForce NOW, players can access the game at maximum graphical settings without local downloads or the need for high-end gaming hardware, as processing runs on Nvidia's remote servers and the output is delivered to the player's device.

Samson is listed as GeForce RTX 5080-ready on Steam, alongside Morbid Metal, indicating both titles are optimised to take advantage of Nvidia's latest generation of graphics hardware when run locally as well as through the cloud service.

Also joining the GeForce NOW library this week is Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition, a compilation celebrating three decades of the long-running platformer franchise from Ubisoft.

The package includes five versions of the game drawn from classic console releases, more than 120 additional levels not included in the original titles, and an exclusive documentary covering the series' history.

DayZ, the open-world survival game from Bohemia Interactive, is additionally arriving on Xbox through Microsoft's Game Pass subscription service and is accessible via GeForce NOW streaming.

All newly added titles are available to GeForce NOW members immediately through the service, which supports streaming across a broad range of devices including low-specification laptops, smartphones and smart televisions that would otherwise be unable to run graphically demanding games natively.

The recap

  • Samson: A Tyndalston Story added to GeForce NOW library.
  • Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition includes five versions and over 120 levels.
  • Members can stream Samson and three other new games this week.
