Gate Dubai officially launches with VARA VASP license
Gate Technology FZE, part of Gate Group, has started operations in Dubai and its exchange platform.
Gate Dubai announced it has obtained a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) license from Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority, and will offer virtual asset exchange services to institutional, qualified and retail investors.
The platform initially provides spot exchange services for major virtual assets and supports exchange between local fiat currency and virtual assets to streamline asset allocation and trading, the company said.
Gate Group said it has consistently upheld the principles of “security, transparency, and compliance,” building a trusted trading environment.
Gate Dubai is operating an independent, fully localized platform while developing a local team and customer support system to meet regional requirements, the company said. The exchange firm added it plans to engage in industry partnerships, knowledge sharing and educational initiatives to support the local digital asset ecosystem.

The launch deepens Gate's compliant presence in the Middle East and North Africa and demonstrates its global compliance layout.
The company added multiple Gate entities have obtained or completed regulatory registrations, license applications, authorizations or approvals in jurisdictions including Malta, the Bahamas, Japan, Australia and Dubai, and that its flagship platform serves over 47 million users.
