Flatpay, a Danish fintech 'unicorn', says it is making an aggressive move to win greater online visibility, teaming up with Bonzer.
Bonzer is to become Flatpay's global search engine optimisation partner, the Fintech said in an announcement on Wednesday, as it seeks to boost visibility and win artificial intelligence-powered search across seven European markets.
It comes as brands are battling for diminishing direct visibility (and measurability) in online ecosystems that increasingly gravitate to AI-based user surfaces, like Google's AI search mode, or AI-native search via Perplexity, ChatGPT or Anthropic's Claude. These systems, unlike traditional search and SEO, do not necessarily result in clicks back into underlying websites.
As Flatpay is scaling its payment solutions across European countries, it aims to lead the category in both traditional search and AI-driven discovery.
The collaboration will run across all seven markets and pairs Bonzer's specialised SEO framework with Flatpay's expansion plans to establish market-leading visibility.
"This is an aggressive move to ensure we remain top-of-mind in all seven markets and acquire as many new customers from organic search as possible," says Nikolai Skouv Pedersen, VP of Group Marketing at Flatpay.
