Fitbit is rolling out new features to its personal health coach in Public Preview, including cycle health, mental wellbeing tracking, and nutrition and water logging, and is extending preview access to users without a Premium membership.
The move follows an announcement from Fitbit that it is "adding new tools to prioritise your wellness," and that the company will broaden access to the coach for non‑subscribers through Public Preview.
Cycle Health lets users log periods and symptoms directly from the calendar; Premium members also gain personalized cycle insights from the coach. Mental Wellbeing adds mood logging and mindfulness session tracking, and updates the stress management metric to a score called resilience to show the body's response to stress.

Nutrition and Water Logging enables users to set a calorie target, log meals, and track calorie and water intake. Fitbit also provides personalized macronutrient ranges to support flexible nutrition management. Non‑Premium users can join Public Preview to track health, fitness, sleep and other metrics, while Premium continues to offer experiences such as "Ask Coach" and custom fitness plans.
The rollout begins immediately, and Fitbit says Public Preview is available to both Premium and non‑Premium users, with certain features reserved for subscribers.
