ElevenLabs activates insurance policy covering actions of its AI voice agents
The company says it is the first to secure coverage backed by AIUC-1 certification after thousands of adversarial tests
ElevenLabs, the AI voice technology company, says it has become the first firm to activate an insurance policy backed by AIUC-1 certification that covers the actions of its AI voice agents.
The company said its ElevenAgents platform powers more than three million voice agents used by enterprises for customer support, sales, scheduling and other workflows, with its technology used by employees at more than 75% of Fortune 500 companies, including Cisco, Square, Revolut and MasterClass.
ElevenLabs said it secured the certification after more than 5,000 adversarial simulations spanning data privacy, safety, security, reliability, accountability and societal impact, with scenarios modelled on documented real-world AI failures such as hallucinations and prompt injection attacks.
The company said those test results enabled leading insurers to offer an AI-specific policy that can underwrite the actions of its customers' agents.
"Enterprise adoption of ElevenAgents is accelerating, and AIUC-1 certification is another step to help companies deploy at scale with confidence," said Mati Staniszewski, co-founder of ElevenLabs.
