Electronic Arts reported a 38% year-over-year rise in total net bookings to $3.046 billion for the third fiscal quarter ended December 31, 2025, driven by strong performance across its key franchises.

The company said Battlefield 6 was the best-selling shooter of the year and delivered record player engagement for the franchise. EA SPORTS FC net bookings rose by high single digits, excluding the timing boost from deluxe edition content, with growth driven by Ultimate Team and FC Mobile. Apex Legends also posted double-digit gains, supported by new features and live events.

Net revenue for the quarter was $1.901 billion, while net income reached $88 million. Operating cash flow totalled $1.826 billion for the quarter and $2.522 billion for the trailing twelve months.

Revenue from full game sales was $632 million, while revenue from live services and other streams—including in-game purchases and subscriptions—was $1.269 billion.

Shares of the company rose marginally ahead of the opening bell.

EA also noted that its pending acquisition by a consortium led by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, Silver Lake and Affinity Partners remains on track. The all-cash deal, announced in September, values the company at approximately $55 billion and is expected to close in the first quarter of fiscal 2027, subject to regulatory approvals.

The Recap

  • Electronic Arts posted $3.046 billion in third-quarter net bookings.
  • Net revenue for the quarter was $1.901 billion.
  • Acquisition expected to close in first quarter of fiscal 2027.
