Crypto.com launched Crypto.com IRAs, a crypto native mixed asset retirement account offering that lets eligible U.S. users hold stocks and cryptocurrency in IRA accounts accessible through the Crypto.com App.
The accounts provide Traditional and Roth IRA options for tax-deferred or tax-free growth and include an up to 5% contribution match, an uncapped up to 2% match on transfers and rollovers, and zero account fees to open, transfer, or maintain an account, the company said in an announcement.
Crypto.com said the service bundles trading and portfolio management for crypto, stocks and ETFs inside one app and includes features such as Recurring Buys and Whale Baskets, plus crypto staking that can deliver high-yield double-digit annual rewards directly into retirement savings. “The launch of Crypto.com IRAs is our latest significant step in providing consumers the ability to act on and invest in financial opportunity,” said Kris Marszalek, Co-Founder and CEO of Crypto.com.

Eligible customers can open a Traditional IRA or Roth IRA with Foris Capital US for stocks and cash, and a separate Traditional IRA or Roth IRA with Foris DAX Trust Company, LLC for digital assets; the company said all digital-asset services and features apply to the IRA provided by Foris DAX Trust Company, LLC, not by Foris Capital US, LLC. The announcement also notes IRA features are subject to regulatory requirements and availability, and that cryptocurrency carries risk including possible loss of principal.
Crypto.com IRAs is now available to eligible U.S. users, and the company said it plans to launch retirement accounts in additional markets in the future; users can get started through the Crypto.com App.
