Crypto.com claims first in digital assets with AI management certification
The exchange said the standard adds a governance layer over its use of artificial intelligence tools and technologies
Crypto.com, the digital assets exchange, said it has become the first platform in the sector to achieve ISO/IEC 42001:2023 certification for an artificial intelligence management system (AIMS).
The international standard requires organisations to manage AI risks, ethical considerations, transparency, accountability and the impact of artificial intelligence on individuals and society.
The certification adds a governance layer over the company's use of AI and complements existing credentials, including ISO/IEC 27001 for information security, ISO 22301 for business continuity and SOC 2 Type 2 compliance.
"This certification is the latest step in our commitment to being a trusted and secure environment for our global user base, and an important step as we continue to leverage AI tools and technologies," said Kris Marszalek, co-founder and chief executive of Crypto.com.
