Claude Introduces Memory for Teams at Work

- Claude app now features memory for team projects
- Memory is optional with user controls for management
- Incognito chat available to all users for privacy
Claude has introduced memory to its app, enhancing team collaboration by remembering projects and preferences.
This feature aims to eliminate the need for users to re-explain context.
Memory is fully optional, allowing users to manage what Claude retains. “Enterprise admins can choose whether to disable memory for their organization at any time,” the company stated.
Incognito chats, which do not save to memory, are available to all users.
With memory, Claude learns professional contexts and work patterns to enhance productivity.
It retains details such as client needs and project priorities, ensuring that sensitive discussions remain separate from general operations.
To use memory, users can enable the feature in Settings and ask Claude questions about past projects.
The company emphasises a phased approach to ensure responsible deployment of memory capabilities.
